ABOUT FILIP JöRGENSEN

Soccer star and athlete who is best known for being a goalkeeper for Spanish club Villarreal. He made his senior debut in October of 2020. In June of 2024, he extended his contract until the year 2029. He has represented both Sweden and Denmark.

In the year 2017, he joined Villarreal's youth setup. In the year 2018, he became part of Sweden's under 16 team.

In July of 2024, it was reported that Chelsea FC offered £17million plus add-ons for his services. It was also reported that he had interest from Marseille. He stands six feet, three inches tall. Jörgensen made his La Liga debut on January 30, 2023, starting in a 1-0 home loss against Rayo Vallecano.

His father is Danish and his mother is Swedish. His brother is Sebastian Rønningen Jørgensen.

He and Eric Bailly played together at Villarreal.
