Brazilian actress and singer who is best known for her role as Carolina in the Telefé and SBT telenovela Chiquititas. She played Carolina from 1997 to 2001.

Her screen debut was at the age of 14, in the film A Menina do Lado in 1986.

Although she has been a working actress since 1986, in 2006 she enrolled in university to further her craft. She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's in film from University Gama Filho.

Her parents are Edson and Maria Regina Soares Monteiro. She has an older brother named Andrew. She and her husband Avner Saragossy have one daughter together, Sophia Saragossy, born July 2, 2015.

Marcela Kloosterboer and Luisana Lopilato were amongst her costars in Chiquititas.
