ABOUT FRANK PALUMBO
Most famous as the owner of a popular South Philadelphia restaurant and nightclub called Palumbo's, this entrepreneur owned numerous other night spots (including the Click Club and Nostalgia's Restaurant) and also became known for his philanthropy on behalf of children and animals.
He launched the careers of such entertainers as Tony Mammarella and Joey Bishop .
He bought several animals for the Philadelphia Zoo.
He was married to screen actress Kippee Bozzacco.
He and his close friend, the legendary singer Frank Sinatra , were both, at one point or another, accused of having ties to the Mafia.
