ABOUT FRANK PIETRANGELO
Canadian goaltender who won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991. He is best remembered for his crucial opening round save against New Jersey Devils centre Peter Stastny , known to Penguins fans simply as 'The Save.'
He was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario and began his NHL career with the Penguins in 1988.
He was named the Sekonda Face to Watch as a member of the Manchester Storm in 1998.
His nephew is NHL player Alex Pietrangelo .
He backed up goaltender Tom Barasso on the Penguins' run to the Stanley Cup in 1991.
