ABOUT FRANK WELLS

President of The Walt Disney Company from 1984 until his untimely death in 1994.

He attended Oxford University where he received his BA. He worked as Vice President for Warner Brothers until Disney recruited him.

He was good friends with Clint Eastwood . Eastwood sang a tribute at his funeral.

He was returning by helicopter from a ski trip in Nevada's Ruby Mountains during Easter 1994 when the plane crashed.

He and Michael Eisner were both recruited to save Disney from a nearly 20-year slump following its founder's death.
