Former husband of Trina Braxton . He appeared on three episodes of Braxton Family Values . He passed away in 2018 after battling cancer. His last appearance on screen was in 2018.

He served in the United States Air Force before beginning his career.

He and Trina were guests on an episode of Iyanla, Fix My Life, in which they openly discussed problems they had had throughout their relationship. He proposed to Trina on the roof of the Georgian Terrace Hotel after taking her to a screening of Dreamgirls . He and Trina were married from 2003 to 2015.

He had two children with Trina.

Trina is the sister of Toni Braxton .
