ABOUT GABRIEL SLONINA

Professional goalie that was signed by the Major League Soccer team the Chicago Fire in 2016. He signed his first professional contract at the age of 14. He is one of the youngest players in MLS history to sign a professional contract and the youngest in Chicago Fire club history. He also is part of the USA Mens National Soccer Team.

He first signed with Chicago's youth squad around his 13th birthday. He played for the club's youth squad until 2021.

He made his professional club debut as a 17 year old starter playing against New York City FC on August 4, 2021. He is the youngest goalie MLS history to start a league match.

He was born and raised in Addison, Illinois. He was born of Polish descent.

He played alongside Xherdan Shaqiri as member of the Chicago Fire during the 2022 MLS club season.
