She was working part time in an after school program while her YouTube career was beginning.

She has also performed in a band called Sol Pacifica.

She was born at Pioneer Hospital in Artesia, California, a hospital that no longer exists. She has dated Kenny Mendez.

She and a friend sang an acapella cover of Lorde 's "Royals" for a YouTube video in November of 2013. She has also done multiple collaborations on YouTube with FLAMA.
