ABOUT GAJENDRA VERMA
Indian film soundtrack songwriter and singer known for his work in the pop, classical, and Ghazal genres. He became known for his song "Tune Mere Jaana" ("Emptiness"), which was attached to a fraudulent internet video about a "dying" student.
Early in his career, he composed music for such films as Taur Mittran Di and Table No. 21.
He frequently collaborated with lyricist Aseem Ahmed Abbasee.
His older brother, Vikram Singh Verma, had a career as a Bollywood director and musical composer.
He was born in the same year as fellow Indian film music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander .
