ABOUT GARIK PAPOYAN

YouTube star, online content creator, and social media personality who is also an Armenian actor, entertainer, artist, performer, musician, and comedian. He founded the band "Garik and Sona" which is considered an Armenian folk-rock band.

From 2003 to 2005, he served in the Armenian Army. Then he went on to major in tourism at the Russian-Armenian University, graduating in 2008. Starting his YouTube channel in 2012, he now has 120,000 subscribers.

The most popular video he has on YouTube is with his band, Garik and Sona for a song called "Hamayak." It has almost 6 million views. Among his most viewed YouTube videos is one simply called "Mimod - Verjaket."

He is married to his wife, Marianne. She was a contestant on the Armenian version of "The X Factor." They now have three daughters together.

He hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with Iveta Mukuchyan i. She is a fellow Armenian singer and songwriter, who sings pop music.
