ABOUT GEETHA MADHURI
Playback singer who shot to stardom with the release of the song "Ninne Ninne," which was recorded for the film Nachavule (2008) and earned her a Nandi Award for Best Female Playback Singer. She has since won numerous awards for her contributions to such films as Mirchi (2013) and Janatha Garage (2016).
She grew up in Hyderabad and received classical music training growing up. She was a semifinalist in the SYE Singers Challenge.
She broke the record for the greatest number of Filmfare Awards won for Best Female Playback Singer - Telugu.
She married actor Ananda Krishna in 2014.
She won a Filmfare Award for her song "Jeevanadhi," recorded for the S.S. Rajamouli -directed film Baahubali: The Beginning (2015).
