ABOUT GEOFFREY HUTCHINGS
Former film, television and stage actor who played a major role in the musical, Poppy. His performance earned him a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy Performance.
He studied French and Physical Education at Birmingham University prior to acting.
For his performance in Poppy, he won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy Performance in 1982.
He died while married to his second wife, Andi Godfrey, and had three children.
He appeared alongside Clint Eastwood in the film, White Hunter, Black Heart.
