ABOUT GEORGE DICAPRIO

Writer, editor and publisher who became known as the father of Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio . He's best known for titles such as Greaser Comics, Forbidden Knowledge and Cocaine Comix.

He met Leonardo's mother Irmelin Indenbirken in college and they married and moved to Los Angeles two years after.

He used to screen scripts for his son early on in his career and got him the role of Rimbaud in the film Total Eclipse.

He also married Peggy Ferrar in 1995.

He has collaborated with Laurie Anderson on his work in Cocaine Comix.
