ABOUT GEORGE KARLAFTIS

NFL defensive lineman that was taken by the Kansas City Chiefs as a first round pick in the 2022 Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Purdue University . While there, he was twice named a member of the second team All-Big Ten.

He was considered a four-star prospect while at West Lafayette High School. In addition to football, he was also a member of the track and field team.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Arizona Cardinals during week one of the 2022 regular season. He recorded 18 tackles in 17 games played during his rookie season.

Although he was born in Athens, Greece, he grew up living with his family in Indiana.

He is a former Purdue collegiate athlete just like Drew Brees and Jaden Ivey .
