ABOUT GEORGI GEORGIEV

Bulgarian soccer player and athlete who is best known for playing as a goalkeeper for the Bulgarian association football club FC Spartak Varna. He has also represented Bulgaria on an international level, having earned his first cap in a friendly match against Paraguay in November 2019.

He played for Levski Sofia's youth academy before signing a two-year contract with FC Tiraspol in July 2011. He went on to become the club's top goalkeeper before after making his league debut later that same month.

As captain of FC Tiraspol, he led the club to their victory in the 2013 Moldovan Cup Final. He also helped Botev Plovdiv earn their victory in the Bulgarian Cup in the 2016-17 season. He stands roughly six feet, three inches tall.
