Writer and critic, best known for the column he had in the Boston Phoenix.

In 1966, he obtained his M.A. in Drama from New York University.

He has been published in the Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Boston Review, among others.

He married Amy Geller.

He studied at NYU with director Vince Gilligan .
