Actor known for playing Ian Carlyle in the comedy drama series The Bold Type . He played Flyseyes in the series Castlevania. From 2006 to 2012, he voiced The Major in Hellsing Ultimate. He has presented a number of Fireside Readings including Winnie-the-Pooh and Alice In Wonderland.
His first screen credit was in the 1995 television movie Larsens of Las Vegas.
He played Gideon in the television series Charmed . He has been in series including Judging Amy , CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Supernatural . He has been in soap operas like General Hospital and The Young and the Restless .
In 1997, he married actress Melora Hardin . In 2001, they welcomed their daughter Rory. In 2005, they had a second daughter Piper.
He was in the 2001 film When Billie Beat Bobby. The film tells the story of the historic 1973 tennis match between Bobby Riggs , played by Ron Silver , and Billie Jean King , played by Holly Hunter .
