ABOUT GIOVANNI SIMEONE

Professional soccer player who is known for playing the striker position for the Italian club Fiorentina. Prior to being acquired by Fiorentina he played for Genoa Cricket and Football Club where he made a total of 35 appearances between 2016-2017.

He began his career playing for Club Atlético River Plate's youth organization in 2008.

He was named the top scorer at the 2015 South American Youth Football Championship.

He is the son of Diego Simeone and Carolina Baldini. He has a younger brother and a younger sister. His brother Giuliano Simeone is also a soccer player. He married Giulia Coppini in May 2021.

Both he and Milan Badelj played for ACF Fiorentina.
