ABOUT GRANT WILLIAMS
Most well known for his role as Scott Carey in the cult classic science fiction feature The Incredible Shrinking Man, he is also remembered for his early work with the New York City Opera and The Robert Shaw Chorale.
After serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and while singing and playing the piano professionally, he studied at Queens College; the City College of New York; and the Actors Studio.
His last two films (both released in 1972) were Doomsday Machine and Brain of Blood.
He and his brother were raised in New York City by a an Irish mother and a Scottish father. His Scottish cousin Mary Garden became a prominent opera singer.
He co-starred with Robert Conrad in the late 1950s and early 1960s ABC series Hawaiian Eye.
