ABOUT GREG NEWSOME II

NFL cornerback that was first drafted by the Cleveland Browns as a first-round pick in 2021. At the finish of his rookie season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He stands at 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 192 pounds.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Northwestern University . Following his 2020 season, he was named to the First Team All-Big Ten.

He and his college teammate, Rashawn Slater, were both first-round picks in 2021. On that day, they became the first teammates in Northwestern's program history to be selected as first-round draft picks.

He grew up living with his family in the Chicago, Illinois area.
