ABOUT GREGORY JAMES BROWN

Professional forward that was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers as the 43rd overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. While at the University of Texas , he was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.

He attended Vandegrift High School, where he was named Texas Gatorade Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American.

He is one out of 20 players in Texas program history to be a McDonald's High School All-American.

He is son of Tonya Wallace and Greg Brown II. His mother ran track and field at Texas and his father played football at Texas.

He was coached by former Longhorns' coach Shaka Smart .
