ABOUT GUILLERMO MARIPáN
Centre back who was called up to play for the Chilean senior national team in 2017. At the club level, he is best known for his year with Universidad Católica, with whom he played from 2012 to 2017.
He played youth soccer for Universidad Católica for more than a decade before making his senior debut, first joining the club when he was 8 years old.
In 2016, he won Supercopa de Chile and Torneo Clausura titles with Universidad Católica.
He has a sister named Francisca.
He became teammates with John Guidetti on Deportivo Alavés in 2018.
