She signed with YG Entertainment in the year 2003.
She was a contestant on King of Mask Singer. In the year 2018, she was a guest on the variety show Knowing Bros. In the year 2016, she released the chart-topping "You Are My Everything" for the Descendants of the Sun soundtrack.
She and actor Jo Jung-suk tied the knot in the year 2018. Their first child was born in the year 2020.
She and Park Yoochun collaborated on the single "Let's Play."
