ABOUT HAMIDA OMAROVA

Azerbaijani film star who gained fame for her role in Gorkhma, Saninlayam (Don't Be Afraid, I'm with You).

She earned a degree in philology from Baku State University in the late 1970s.

She was a winner of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Award before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Her three siblings passed away while they were infants. She has a son.

She became one of Azerbaijan's best recognized actors, much like Mirza Babayev .
