Canadian actress best known for appearing as Debbit Mitford in the 2017 Netflix drama Mindhunter .
She attended New York University 's famed Tisch School of the Arts. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts in theatre and minored in religious studies.
She appeared in the 2002 movie Men with Brooms.
Her mother, Martha Burns, and her father, Paul Gross, were both actors in film and theatre.
She appeared alongside Joaquin Phoenix as the young version of his mother in 2019's Joker .
