ABOUT HELEN JO

Visual artist who is perhaps most famous for her work on the hit animated series Steven Universe, where she was a storyboard artist and writer. She is also known for her contributions to Gothball and Regular Show.

She grew up in San Jose, California. She went to college with the intention of becoming a professor but dropped out to attend art school.

She composed the song "Dear Old Dad" for the "House Guest" episode of Steven Universe.

She has a sibling named Haesue.

She was heavily inspired by the works of comic artist Jaime Hernandez .
