ABOUT HENRY LAPORTE
TikTok star and celebrity chef better known known as Salt Hank for making salted and seasoned food. His recipe demos include a paleo bowl, smash burger and steak sandwich. He has earned more than 2.7 million followers on his salt_hank account. He also founded podhippo marketing.
His first tattoo was NaCl, the chemical compound for salt. He studied broadcast journalism at University of Colorado Boulder.
He worked as a marketing consultant at Podhippo Marketing in San Francisco. In March 2022, he appeared on Access Hollywood and made his own version of McDonald's McRib. He launched a range of salts and seasonings including pesto and truffle oil.
His parents are named Leo and Jennifer Laporte. When he was a child, his mother used to scold him for eating salt directly out of the container. His sister is named Abby Laporte.
He collaborated with chef Nick DiGiovanni on a surf and turf sandwich.
