ABOUT HENRY PAUL
American country singer who was a founding member of both the Southern rock band Outlaws and the country band BlackHawk.
He started playing music gigs when he was 17 years old at high school folk festivals and the 18th String Coffee House and Music Emporium in Tampa.
He opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1974 with the band Outlaws.
He was raised on a farm with his two sisters in Hurley, New York.
Like Bob Dylan , he played his music on the streets to make a living while making demos for Epic Records.
