ABOUT HERBERT JONES

Professional guard and forward that was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans as the 35th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. During his junior year at the University of Alabama , he was named the SEC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Prior to transferring to Hale County High School during his junior year, attended Sunshine High School where he played alongside his older brother and was coached by his father.

He became University of Alabama's record holder for most charges taken in a single-season and career.

He is a native of Northport, Alabama. His older brother Walter Jr. is a professional basketball player as well.

He played alongside Jahvon Quinerly on the University of Alabama basketball team.
