ABOUT HOSSAM ASHOUR

Defensive midfielder who became the most decorated player in Al Ahly SC's history, winning more than 30 championships with the club. He began competing for Egypt internationally in 2008.

He came up through Al Ahly SC's youth system before being promoted to the senior quad at age 17.

During the 2009-10 season, he became the youngest player ever to captain Al Ahly SC.

His brother passed away in 2017.

He has played alongside Walid Soliman atAl Ahly SC.
