ABOUT HUGH POLLARD
Former child actor who is forever remembered for his starring role in the 1987 film adaptation of Hansel and Gretel. He became known to television audiences for his role as Simon in Simon and the Witch in 1988.
He was a student at the Christ Church C of E School, when he was cast in his first acting role.
He has created slow-motion replays for the Olympics and Wimbledon.
He moved to a village in Cambridgeshire with his wife in 2001.
