ABOUT IGOR JULIO

Former teenage soccer sensation that initially began his professional club soccer career with FC Liefering in the year 2016. Since then, he has played soccer professionally in countries such as Austria, Brazil, Italy, and England. In July of 2023, he signed a contract to play with the English Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. .

As a kid, he played within the Atlético Mineiro youth ranks. He also played for Portuguesa Santista and Red Bull Bragantino II.

He made his official club debut with FC Liefering's senior team on July 22, 2016. He was just 18 years old at the time. On July 26, 2023, Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion announced the signing of Igor on a four-year deal for a reported fee of €17 million.

He was born and raised in Bom Sucesso, Brazil.

He primarily plays the position of center-back like David Luiz and Rúben Dias .
