ABOUT IMEE MARCOS

Filipina politician and former actress serving as the Senator of the 19th Congress of the Republic of the Philippines
since the year 2019.

She turned ten years old the day after her father was elected president in the year 1965. She attended the Santa Catalina Convent. She also attended Princeton University , but did not receive a degree. Marcos grew up as a young child in the Malacañan Palace, the official residence of the president and was constantly called "Babalina" by her peers.

She served as governor of Ilocos Norte from 2010 to 2019 and as a representative of Ilocos Norte's second district from 1998 to 2007.

Her real name is Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios Romualdez Marcos. She is the daughter of Ferdinand Marcos and Imelda Marcos . She has two children named Borgy Manotoc and Matthew Manotoc.

Her brother is politician Bongbong Marcos .
