Portuguese basketball player best known for playing as a guard for Gonzaga in NCAA Division I women's basketball. She also played several seasons with the University of Connecticut . She has achieved a significant fanbase on her ines_pbettencourt Instagram account, where she boasts over 20,000 followers.

She was raised on São Miguel Island before honing her craft at Clube União Sportiva. In 2022, she became the recipient of a scholarship opportunity at the University of Connecticut.

She also represented her home country, Portugal, at the U18 and U20 levels of the European Championships, where she earned All-Star Five honors in 2022.

She and her brother, Rodrigo, were born to parents Catarina and Ricardo Bettencourt. She made history when she became the first-ever University of Connecticut player to be recruited from Portugal.
