ABOUT IRIS COMPIET
Illustrator and artist who is known for her highly detailed watercolors of folklore and mythological figures. She has been featured in several group exhibitions in places such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and Illinois and shares her artworks through her personal website and Instagram where she has over 130,000 followers.
With a passion for myth, fantasy, and folklore at the age of seven, she vowed to become an artist to express and explore her passion for the mythological. She began sharing her artworks to Instagram in October of 2012 and participated in her first group show in 2013 at Kosart Gallery in Westmont, Illinois.
She runs a Patreon page in which her fans can support her and donate to her to receive exclusive content and so that she can continue to make art and share her works online. She is also known for appearing at a range of conventions such as Illuxcon in Pennsylvania and Faeriecon in Baltimore.
She was born and raised in the Netherlands.
