ABOUT IRV CROSS
NFL cornerback who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams from 1961 to 1969 and became a sportscaster after retirement.
He was selected in the 7th round of the 1961 NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career at Northwestern.
He made the Pro Bowl twice, in 1964 and in 1965.
He married Liz Cross, and had a son and a daughter with her.
He played in the 1964 Pro Bowl in which Johnny Unitas was named co-MVP.
