ABOUT ISABELLA RUSSO

Singer and musical theatre actress who made her Broadway debut portraying Summer in the musical adaptation of the hit Jack Black film School of Rock. She has appeared in multiple episodes of the TV series Crashing . She played Joy Yoshino in the 2022 horror film We Have a Ghost .

Homeschooled while she performed around the country, she also trained in ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance.

Prior to joining the cast of the School of Rock, she performed in productions of Cheer from Chawton and A Wicked Magical Mystery Tour. In 2016, she performed at the 70th Annual Tony Awards.

Her mother's name is Kristi Tomooka-Russo.

During her performance in Honolulu, she became the opening act for fellow stage actress Shoshana Bean .
