ABOUT ISHMAIL WAINRIGHT

Professional power forward that was signed by the Phoenix Suns in October 2021. Before playing in the NBA, he played overseas in Germany and France. He has played for the Ugandan men's national team as well.

He attended Montrose Christian School before eventually playing at Raytown South High School. During his senior year, he committed to Baylor University .

He once tried out for Buffalo Bills , since he was a talented football player as a tight end. After being cut by the Bills, a few months later he signed a contract to play professional basketball in Germany.

He grew up living with his family in Kansas City, Missouri. He is an only child.

He played with Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry while on the Toronto Raptors in 2021.
