ABOUT ISMAIL JAKOBS

Soccer star and athlete who played for the Senegal national team and the Germany U21 national team. He also played for Süper Lig club Galatasaray and Ligue 1 club Monaco. He was considered a versatile player, who could play as a left back in a four or as a wingback.

He began playing soccer at age four at BC Bliesheim.

He was crowned European Under-21 champion with the Nationalmannschaft. On September 2, 2024, Jakobs joined Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray on loan from Monaco, until the end of the 2024-25 season. He stands an even six feet tall.

His father is Senegalese.

In 2020, he was nominated for the Young Player of the Season in the Bundesliga. The title was eventually won by Alphonso Davies .
