The first work in entertainment he booked was a model. He then landed a spot on the television series All My Children before landing his part in After Earth.

He guest-starred in an episode of Jessie and was featured in the TV movie A History of Radness.

He was born an only child to mother Nicole Hampton. He moved to Los Angeles from the east coast.
