Country music singer, vocalist, composer, and songwriter who initially rose to fame after the release of her 2017 debut album Felony Blues. The album is notable for its intensely personal lyrics about her struggles with depression, addiction, and crime.
Her first concert was a Bonnie Raitt show. She signed to Lakeshore Records shortly after graduating from high school.
She was featured on the Dropkick Murphys song "Bring It Home." In September of 2023, she visited the Motown Museum in Detroit, Michigan. Her musical style has been described as outlaw country and has drawn praise from well-known media outlets like NPR and Pitchfork.
She has Irish ancestry through her father, who was friends with Grateful Dead member Bob Weir .
She collaborated with country singer Jessi Colter on the 2020 single "Just a Woman."
