Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his career at the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League. He was signed to a two-year, entry-level contract with the team on April 9, 2018.

As a child, he played piano.

In October 2021, he signed a three-year $5.1 million contract extension with the Canadiens.

His parents are named Wayne and Marilyn. He has an older brother named Matthew.

In June 2021, he received a hard open-ice hit from Winnipeg Jets player Mark Scheifele during Game 1 of the second round of the 2021 playoffs.
