ABOUT JALEN PITRE

NFL defensive back that was drafted by the Houston Texans as a second round pick in 2022. Following his 2022 season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

He is a graduate of Baylor University . While at Baylor, he was twice named to the first team All-Big 12 as well as a Consensus first-team All-American and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Indianapolis Colts during week one of the 2022 regular season. He collected 131 tackles in seventeen games played during his rookie season. He was considered to be a core building block for the Texans as they rebuilt their team following the trade of Deshaun Watson .

He grew up living with his parents in Stafford, Texas.

He was taken during the 2022 NFL Draft just like Aidan Hutchinson .
