ABOUT JAMAR JAKES

One of five children born to The Potter House pastor TD Jakes .

He was born in 1979, but his parents wouldn't get married until 1981. His father had been preaching part-time at the time.

He has served as the general manager for The Potter House and as the director of business development for TD Jakes Enterprises.

Born to TD and Serita Jakes , he has four siblings: Sarah , Jermaine , Cora , and Thomas .

His father appeared in the 2011 film Jumping the Broom alongside Angela Bassett and Paula Patton .
