ABOUT JAMES DEWEES
American musician notable for his work with the bands The Get Up Kids, Coalesce, My Chemical Romance , and Reggie and the Full Effect. He also released individual recordings with Leathermouth , New Found Glory , and Matt Pryor.
While studying music at the University of Missouri , he began performing as both a singer and a drummer with the Kansas City-based band Coalesce.
While performing with Reggie and the Full Effect, Dewees created several personas -- i.e. lead singer "Klaus" of a fictional Scandanavian metal group -- who appear on different albums and tracks by the band.
He was born and raised in Liberty, Missouri.
He was featured on Gerard Way 's debut solo album Hesitant Alien.
