ABOUT JAMES HOUSTON IV

Professional outside linebacker that was selected as a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions . Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Jackson State University . He stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs approximately 245 pounds.

He initially began his college football career at the University of Florida . He eventually transferred to Jackson State as a senior in 2021.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Buffalo Bills during week twelve of the 2022 regular season. Unfortunately, he lost his NFL debut 28-25.

He grew up living with his family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was coached by Deion Sanders while at Jackson State.
