American stage and television actor who had recurring roles on True Blood and Veronica Mars . In 2006, he starred in Seraphim Falls.
He studied theatre at Missouri Southern University and went on to receive his MFA degree in acting from UCLA .
He helped found the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble and also performed in the lauded L.A. theatrical production of Kindred.
He spent his early childhood in Texas and Colorado and moved to Missouri with his mother and sister in the early 1990s.
He appeared in a 2012 episode of The Mentalist , a series starring Simon Baker .
