ABOUT JAMES WILDER

NFL running back who played the majority of his 9-season career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He was drafted by the Buccaneers 34th overall after playing in three bowl games for the University of Missouri.

He had his best NFL season in 1984, when he was an All-Pro selection.

His son James Wilder, Jr. went on to play college football at Florida State.

He was teammates with quarterback Vinny Testaverde on the Buccaneers from 1987 to 1989.
