He landed his first television role in 1987 in Tales from the Darkside and would later make his film debut in Steel Magnolias.

Once, he didn't get a part in All My Children after auditioning because he was too young.

He was cast in a lead role in the Walker, Texas Ranger spin-off created by Chuck Norris called Sons of Thunder. However, the show was short-lived because of how expensive the it was to produce.
