She started her career at the age of fourteen after she performed in front of an audience at a popular kafana in Obilić in 1988.
Her debut album Imam moć was released in 1992.
She has two siblings, a brother named Dejan and a sister named Danijela. She has a daughter, Kristina, with her husband Ivan Todorović.
She went on tour with singer Lepa Brena after the release of her successful album Sokolica in 1998.
